Pornhub
Biggest library in the industry and a Premium tier that actually delivers, but the free experience is deliberately hostile and Aylo profiles your behavior across a dozen properties whether the Blacklight scan shows it or not.

Score Breakdown
What's good
+ Largest video library on the internet with over 10 million videos across every production tier and category
+ Premium at $9.99/mo is legitimately good — real 4K, full Aylo studio network, zero ads
+ Works on everything, loads fast, adaptive streaming handles bad connections without falling apart
+ Discreet billing under Aylo or Probiller, nothing identifiable on statements
What's bad
− Free mobile experience is one of the worst in the project — redirects, overlay ads, compressed quality despite resolution labels
− Downloads are restricted even on Premium — no bulk option, no offline app, limited formats
− Blacklight found 2 trackers but Aylo operates across a dozen properties as first-party data collector, which scans can't measure
− The 2020 verification purge made the site safer but gutted the amateur catalog that made Pornhub's library distinct
Full Review
I almost skipped this one. What am I going to tell anyone about Pornhub that they haven't already decided for themselves. But then I ran the Blacklight scan and the results surprised me enough to justify the review.
Ten million videos, give or take. After the 2020 purge where they wiped every unverified upload overnight, the number dropped significantly and a lot of niche amateur content disappeared permanently. People were furious at the time. Looking back, the site needed to do it. A lot of what got removed shouldn't have been there. But the library lost something real in the process. The amateur stuff that made Pornhub feel different from a studio portal — that's mostly gone now. What's left is still massive, still covers every category you can think of and several you probably can't, and still represents the single largest video collection on any adult platform. Studio content from Brazzers, RealityKings, the whole Aylo network sits alongside verified amateur uploads and creator content. The organization works. Search returns what you're looking for. Filters function. At this scale that's not trivial to build.
Now here's where it gets interesting and frustrating at the same time.
Free Pornhub on mobile is atrocious. I tested this systematically because I wanted to be fair about it — opened the site on an iPhone through Safari, no ad blocker, the way most people actually use it. Tapped a video. Got redirected to some crypto gambling site. Hit back. Tried again. Full-screen interstitial, close button maybe four pixels wide, I hit the ad instead of the X three times in a row. Then the video starts with a banner overlay at the bottom and if your thumb touches it even slightly you're back in the redirect loop. I timed it across five separate sessions. Average time from opening the site to watching content uninterrupted: 47 seconds. That's not a complaint. That's a measurement.
I also compared the same video on free versus Premium. Tagged 1080p in both cases. Free version had visible compression artifacts in motion, softer facial detail, washed-out color. Premium played the actual 1080p file. The resolution label on free is technically correct and practically misleading.
Desktop with an ad blocker is a different site entirely. Manageable. Functional. But that's not how most traffic hits Pornhub and we both know it.
Premium costs $9.99 a month. I'm going to be honest about something that annoyed me during testing — it's genuinely good. No ads at all. Real 4K on supported content. Full Aylo studio library access. Fast seeking, adaptive bitrate, minimal buffering. The streaming infrastructure handles it cleanly. Downloads exist but they're weirdly limited for a paid tier. No bulk download. No offline app. Format options are restricted. That feels like a deliberate choice rather than a technical limitation, and at this price point it's one of the few complaints I have about Premium specifically.
The gap between free and paid is the widest I've measured in this project. I reviewed EPorner where free already includes downloads and quality is solid without paying. I reviewed XNXX where GOLD at the same price includes unlimited downloads. Pornhub's free experience is hostile by comparison. Premium is the real product. Free is the advertisement for it.
Features are fine. Recommendation algorithm works. Playlists, favorites, verified creator profiles, model pages with filtering. Nothing here pushes the category forward. Everything functions at the scale you'd expect from the most visited adult site on earth. The video player is standard. Navigation is standard. Pornhub leads on volume, not on product innovation, and it doesn't need to innovate because the volume alone brings people back.
So the privacy scan. I expected bad results and that's not what happened.
Blacklight returned 2 ad trackers and 0 third-party cookies. No fingerprinting. No session recording. No keystroke capture. That's cleaner than XHamster, which came back at 2 trackers with additional cookie load. Comparable to RedTube's tracker count though RedTube carries 3 cookies. On the scan metrics alone, Pornhub is middling-to-clean for a free tube.
But I'd be lying if I stopped there.
Pornhub is owned by Aylo, formerly MindGeek. Aylo runs Brazzers, RealityKings, RedTube, YouPorn, and probably ten other properties I haven't listed. They don't need a fleet of third-party trackers because they ARE the tracker. Everything you watch, how long you stay, what you search for, which performers you click, which categories you return to — all of it feeds into Aylo's internal data infrastructure. Not across third-party ad networks that Blacklight can detect. Across their own first-party ecosystem that spans every property they operate. You watch something specific on Pornhub Tuesday night and browse Brazzers Wednesday morning — same company, same behavioral profile, same data pipeline.
The 2-tracker Blacklight result is accurate. It's also incomplete in a way that matters for how you think about privacy on this site. A VPN makes sense here not because the scan looks scary, but because Aylo's data collection operates at a layer that Blacklight and similar tools simply cannot reach. I started using one after I figured this out. Five bucks a month. Should've been doing it years ago.
Billing shows up as Aylo or Probiller on statements. Nobody's going to know what that is. Standard across all Aylo properties.
6.8/10. The library earns the content score — nothing else comes close in sheer volume. Premium is a competent streaming product at a fair price. But the deliberately degraded free experience drags the score hard, and the privacy situation is more nuanced than the clean-looking Blacklight numbers suggest. Two trackers on the scan. An unknown quantity of behavioral profiling behind it. Pornhub is the site everyone uses and nobody should use carelessly.
