This is the fourth Aylo tube I've reviewed and I wasn't expecting any surprises. Pornhub — 2 trackers. YouPorn — 2 trackers. Tube8 — 2 trackers. RedTube — 2 trackers and 3 cookies. Every Aylo property returns the same tracking fingerprint because they run the same infrastructure. So when PornTube's Blacklight scan came back at 0 trackers and 0 cookies, I did what I always do when a result surprises me — I re-ran it. Same result. Zero.

I don't have a great explanation for this. PornTube is an Aylo property. Same company, same Montreal headquarters, same data infrastructure. The other three tubes I tested all returned 2 trackers. PornTube returned 0. It's possible the scan caught the page during a state where the tracker scripts hadn't loaded. It's possible PornTube runs a slightly different ad configuration than its siblings. It's possible the scan is accurate and PornTube genuinely loads fewer third-party scripts than Pornhub. Whatever the reason, the result is what it is — I report what the tools return and PornTube returned a clean sheet.

That said, the same caveat from every Aylo review applies. Blacklight measures third-party tracking scripts loaded in your browser. It doesn't measure what Aylo does with your data internally. The first-party behavioral profiling — what you watch, how long, what you search, which categories you browse — feeds into Aylo's cross-property data infrastructure whether the Blacklight scan shows 0 trackers or 20. A clean scan here doesn't mean a clean privacy posture. It means the third-party component measured zero on this specific property during testing.

VirusTotal came back 0/94. Clean. Expected.

The domain is from 2005 — same era as YouPorn, predating Tube8 by two years. PornTube was an established tube before Aylo acquired it and folded it into the network. The name alone — porntube.com — is the kind of exact-match domain that would be worth a fortune if it were available today. It's not. Aylo owns it and uses it to capture the search traffic that comes from people typing "porn tube" into Google. That's essentially the business case for this property's continued existence.

The design is the Aylo template. I've described it three times already and nothing changes here. Modern interface, thumbnail grid, category navigation, search with filters, smooth player. It works. It's the same product you get on Pornhub, YouPorn, and Tube8 with a different logo at the top.

Cluttered in the same way all Aylo tubes are cluttered. Premium upsell banners. Cross-network promotion. Trending creator badges. The usual noise around the actual content. PornTube felt about the same as YouPorn on clutter — not as restrained as Pornhub, not as pushy as Tube8.

Content overlap. Same test I've done on every Aylo property — searched identical terms on PornTube and Pornhub, compared first-page results. 50-60% overlap, roughly the same as YouPorn and Tube8. The library is smaller than Pornhub's. Probably comparable to Tube8 in size, maybe slightly smaller. I couldn't find a single exclusive. Not one video that existed on PornTube but not on Pornhub. The content is a subset of the Aylo shared library.

Premium is the Aylo bundle at roughly $10/month. Same as Pornhub Premium, YouPorn Premium, Tube8 Premium. You're paying for network access, not for anything PornTube-specific. Billing shows as Aylo — discreet.

Ads: 1-2 interactions on page load. Standard Aylo free-tier ad experience. Desktop with adblocker eliminates it. Mobile without one is the usual.

No downloads. No app. No VR. No unique features. Nothing that distinguishes PornTube from any other Aylo tube beyond the domain name and the oddly clean Blacklight scan.

10-15 million monthly visitors. Roughly in the same range as Tube8. A fraction of Pornhub's traffic. Same pattern — legacy domain capturing search traffic and habit-based visits from users who started using PornTube before the Aylo acquisition and never switched to Pornhub.

5.8 out of 10. Slightly above Tube8 because the Blacklight scan genuinely came back cleaner — 0 versus 2 trackers matters even with the first-party caveats. The 21-year domain history adds a touch of credibility. But the fundamental problem is the same one I flagged on YouPorn and Tube8: this is a redundant property in the Aylo portfolio. Same content, same features, same premium, same behavioral profiling. Aylo keeps these domains alive because the traffic is essentially free money — the sites run on shared infrastructure with near-zero marginal cost and every visit is a potential premium conversion. As a user, there's nothing here that justifies choosing PornTube over Pornhub. The Blacklight scan is the only data point in its favor, and one anomalous scan doesn't change the math.
