XHamster is one of the biggest free tubes in the world, and it's... fine. I scored it 6.8/10 overall. Two trackers, zero cookies, no fingerprinting — not terrible, but not clean either.
The problem with XHamster isn't one dramatic red flag. It's the accumulation of small things. Two trackers means two third-party companies know you visited. The site has been subject to data leaks in the past. And some users report aggressive ad behavior that varies by region.
"Safe" means different things to different people. For this guide, I'm defining it as: fewer trackers, cleaner Blacklight scan, no invasive techniques (fingerprinting, session recording, keystroke capture), and a clean VirusTotal report.
I pulled every free tube from our database and ranked them by safety profile first, overall quality second. The top alternatives all have fewer trackers than XHamster. Several have zero.
One thing worth noting: XHamster's billing runs through Stripcash, the same processor used by Stripchat. If you've ever bought XHamster Gold, "Stripcash" is what appears on your statement. That's actually a decent billing descriptor — discreet enough. Some alternatives use less discreet descriptors, which I've noted where relevant.
