#2
E-Hentai
7.8/10The oldest and deepest hentai gallery archive on the internet — running since 2005 with a community tagging system so detailed it makes every other aggregator look like a filing cabinet. Blacklight returned 1 tracker and 0 cookies. 130 million monthly visits. A virtual currency (Hath), a bounty system for requested content, and a restricted mirror site (exhentai) that nearly caused a community meltdown when the platform almost shut down in 2019. Nothing else in this space has this level of community infrastructure.
Content: 9/10Privacy: 8/10Value: 9/101 trackersFree
+ The most comprehensive hentai gallery archive online — doujinshi, manga, CG sets, western comics, cosplay, anime images. Continuously uploaded by the community since 2005. The depth of catalog across languages, artists, and parodies is something nhentai and Hitomi scrape from but don't replicate+ Community tagging system that is genuinely best-in-class. Registered users tag galleries with artist, character, parody, language, and detailed fetish tags. The taxonomy is searchable, combinable, and powers the entire discovery system. You can search for a specific artist drawing a specific character from a specific series with specific tags and get results. No other hentai site has this granularity
#3
Gelbooru
7.8/10Gelbooru is a community-operated booru imageboard with millions of tagged anime/hentai images and 46.8M monthly visits. Danbooru fork with no paywall — every feature is free. Blacklight scan: 0 trackers, 0 cookies, nothing. Perfect scan on a site with ad-supported monetization. Tagging taxonomy is the best content organization in any adult site category.
Content: 7/10Privacy: 9/10Value: 9/100 trackersFree
+ Blacklight scan: zero trackers, zero cookies, no fingerprinting, no session recording, no keystroke capture. VirusTotal 0/94. Perfect scan on a site with 46.82 million monthly visits and ad-supported monetization. The batch scan flagged 1T/8C/fingerprinting — the live test reproduced none of it. Cleaner than Pornhub, XVideos, and every tube in the project+ Community-maintained tagging taxonomy is the most precise content organization system in any adult site category. Tags classify every post by character, artist, series, and content descriptors. Searching for a specific character returns exactly that character with accurate content labels. Users maintain, correct, and debate tagging standards via the wiki
#4
Danbooru
7.8/10Danbooru is the original booru — the imageboard tagging system that every clone copies. 50.6M monthly visits, 4M+ curated posts, ad-free, perfect Blacklight scan (0/0/nothing). Created by Albert Yi in 2005, now operated by pseudonymous Evazion. Premium paywall broken since 2022, making all features effectively free.
Content: 8/10Privacy: 9/10Value: 8/100 trackersFree
+ Perfect Blacklight scan: 0 trackers, 0 cookies, no fingerprinting, no session recording, no keystroke capture. The clean result is structural — Danbooru runs zero ads, so there is no advertising infrastructure to deploy trackers. VirusTotal 1/94 is marginal and likely reflects NSFW content classification, not a security threat+ The tagging system is the gold standard for anime image classification. Every booru clone, AI training dataset, and image search tool that uses character/artist/content tags traces back to Danbooru's taxonomy. The public API exposes this data to third-party apps, ML researchers, and browser extensions. Danbooru's influence on how anime artwork is organized online is foundational

#6
Rule34Video
7.2/10The largest Rule 34 animated video platform on the internet — 300 million monthly visitors, which puts it ahead of Pornhub in raw traffic. Clean Blacklight scan at 1 tracker and 0 cookies, modern interface, completely free. If it exists, there is porn of it, and Rule34Video is where that porn lives in animated form.
Content: 9/10Privacy: 7/10Value: 9/101 trackersFree
+ The single largest collection of Rule 34 animated adult content anywhere — if a character or franchise exists, someone has animated porn of it and uploaded it here+ Blacklight scan returned only 1 ad tracker and 0 cookies with no fingerprinting, session recording, or keystroke capture — remarkably clean for 300 million monthly visitors
#7
Rule34.xxx
7.2/10The biggest Rule 34 booru on the internet — 445 million monthly visits, fourteen years of user-uploaded content covering every franchise and character you can think of (and plenty you can't). Blacklight came back 0 trackers, 0 cookies, which is absurd for a site this size running on ads. The ads themselves are the tradeoff — popups and redirects that'll test your patience and your adblocker.
Content: 9/10Privacy: 9/10Value: 9/100 trackersFree
+ Blacklight scan: 0 trackers, 0 cookies. No fingerprinting, no session recording, no keystroke capture. For a free site running 445 million monthly visits on ad revenue, this is the cleanest result I've recorded in the entire project+ Completely free. No premium tier, no paywall, no subscription, no account required to browse. You can create one for uploading and tag management but nobody's asking for your credit card ever
#8
HentaiFox
6.2/1070M monthly visits on a pirate hentai manga reader — same content as nhentai with a cleaner interface and worse tracking. 3 trackers, 4 cookies. 12-minute sessions, 90% mobile. Anonymous operator, periodic downtime, beautiful UX on a legally questionable foundation.
Content: 8/10Privacy: 5/10Value: 8/103 trackersFree
+ Cleanest UX in pirate hentai — modern thumbnails, fast reader, mobile-optimized+ 70M visits, 12-min sessions — massive engagement
#9
HentaiHaven
6/10The zombie version of a site that died in 2018 — the original HentaiHaven shut down, got absorbed by Fakku, the founder declared it dead, and then someone revived it as a .xxx domain with a different team. Blacklight found 2 trackers and 2 cookies, worse than both Hanime and E-Hentai. The adblock detection forces you to disable your blocker or you can't watch anything, which means you're exposed to the full ad and tracker load with no defense. Free uncensored full episodes with downloads. Just know whose site you're actually on.
Content: 7/10Privacy: 6/10Value: 8/102 trackersFree
+ Uncensored full hentai episodes — subbed and dubbed — available for free streaming and download without an account. The uncensored focus is the brand identity and the library covers 2016 through 2026 releases across hundreds of series+ Downloads work without creating an account — grab the MP4 in 480p to 1080p quality via direct links or browser tools. Hanime doesn't offer native downloads. For offline viewing, HentaiHaven is more accessible
