Here's the short version of a long story. HentaiHaven launched around 2014 as hentaihaven.org. It got popular. Really popular. The founder went by "Papa HH" and the community treated the site like a cultural institution. Then in December 2018 it shut down. DMCA pressure, legal concerns, the usual forces that hit free streaming sites eventually. The site was transferred to Fakku, which is a licensed hentai publisher that actually pays for distribution rights.

That should have been the end of it. Fakku would run a legit version. Everyone moves on.

Instead it turned into a mess. The original founder came back claiming he wasn't being paid what was promised. There were public disputes about who controlled what. You're on a revival run by anonymous people who claimed the brand after the original died. If you care about anything beyond that, the competition is better.
