Here's what nobody tells you about PornMD — it's owned by Aylo. The same company that runs Pornhub, RedTube, YouPorn, and Tube8. PornMD is their search engine. You type a keyword, it returns results from across the Aylo network plus some external tubes, you click, you get redirected to the source. That's the entire product. The Google of porn, except Google doesn't own all the websites it shows you results from. PornMD does, or at least the ones it prioritizes.

That ownership makes the scan result interesting. Blacklight: 1 tracker, 0 cookies. Aylo's free tubes — Pornhub, RedTube, YouPorn — all run 2 trackers. Their premium studios — Brazzers, RealityKings — run 0. PornMD sits at 1, which is the lightest Aylo property on the free side. No fingerprinting, no session recording, no keystroke capture. For a search engine that exists to funnel traffic into the Pornhub network, running minimal tracking on the search page itself makes sense. The tracking happens on the destination, not the search box.

Nine million monthly visits. That's decent for a search engine but a fraction of what the tubes it indexes pull individually. Pornhub alone does billions. The value of PornMD isn't the traffic it gets — it's the traffic it sends. Every click is a redirect to an Aylo property or a partner tube. The business model isn't ads on PornMD. It's traffic distribution across a network. The single tracker is probably measuring which searches generate which clicks to optimize that distribution.

The live search feed was the feature that made PornMD interesting when it launched — a real-time scroll of what other people were searching for, plus a world map showing search trends by country. I'm not sure either feature still exists in the current version, but the concept was genuinely unique. A porn search engine that showed you what the world was looking for in real time. Voyeuristic in a different way than the content itself.

Search results pull from Pornhub, RedTube, YouPorn, Tube8 as the core network, with some results from xHamster and ePorner mixed in. The weighting obviously favors Aylo properties — search anything and the first results are Pornhub. That's not a conspiracy, it's a business owned by the same company surfacing its own content first. The results are relevant enough that it works as a search engine, but you're searching a curated index, not the entire web.

The Aylo connection brings baggage. MindGeek — now Aylo — has been through the GirlsDoPorn federal case, the Visa/Mastercard payment processor withdrawal, content moderation investigations, and the general cloud of controversy that follows the world's largest porn company. PornMD as a product is just a search box. It doesn't host content. It doesn't moderate content. It redirects to sites that do both. But it's part of the machine, and the machine has a documented history.

No account, no app, no payment, no premium. Free search, free results, free redirects. Ads exist but they're light — the site isn't monetized aggressively because it's not supposed to make money directly. It's a traffic router. The domain goes back to 2005, making it 21 years old, which in internet time makes it an institution.

Eight-minute average sessions for a search engine is high. People aren't just searching once — they're searching, clicking back, refining, searching again. The search-and-browse loop works well enough to keep people cycling. The mobile site handles this adequately. Nothing about the experience is remarkable or broken.

Comparison to the independents: TubeGalore at 6.4 has zero ads and 1 tracker but no corporate backing. iXXX at 6.2 has 199 million visits and 1 tracker but isn't searching a curated network. NudeVista — not yet reviewed — is the model-focused search engine. PornMD is the corporate option. You're searching Pornhub's network through a branded search interface. If you're already a Pornhub user, PornMD is redundant — Pornhub has its own search. If you want to search across multiple tubes, TubeGalore and iXXX do it independently without Aylo's thumb on the results scale.
