CherryTV

Brand new cam site out of Luxembourg with a perfect 0/0 Blacklight scan — the only cam platform in this project with zero trackers. Modern interface, crypto and PayPal accepted, free public shows. The problem is obvious: barely anyone's here yet. 200K monthly visits means the model count at any given time is... limited.

What's good

+ Perfect Blacklight scan — 0 trackers, 0 cookies, no fingerprinting, no session recording, no keystroke capture. The only cam site in the entire project with this result besides Chaturbate

+ VirusTotal 0/94, spotless

+ Accepts credit card, crypto, AND PayPal — having all three on a cam site is unusual. Most cam platforms get dropped by PayPal for content policy violations

+ Design is genuinely modern — clean layout, smooth streams, good mobile. Somebody actually thought about UX here instead of cloning Chaturbate's 2014 look

What's bad

200K monthly visits. Chaturbate does tens of millions. That translates directly to fewer models online at any given moment and it's the kind of gap you feel within thirty seconds of opening the site

Founded in 2020 — five years of track record versus Chaturbate's fourteen or LiveJasmin's twenty-four. Too early to know if this platform survives

Luxembourg registration is good for GDPR but the actual company behind it is opaque — privately held, no public founders, limited corporate information

Token economy is copy-paste from every other cam site. Buy tokens, tip, go private. Nothing new happening on the business model side

Full Review

I opened CherryTV on a Tuesday night expecting the usual cam site experience — wall of thumbnails, way too many choices, scroll until something catches your eye. Instead I got maybe fifteen models online. Scrolled down. That was it. Fifteen.

That's the review, honestly. Everything else I'm about to say is context for why this score isn't higher despite the site doing almost everything right on the technical side.

Because technically? CherryTV is kind of great. The Blacklight scan came back at 0/0. Zero trackers. Zero cookies. No fingerprinting. No session recording. No keystroke capture. I've tested Chaturbate (0 trackers, clean), Stripchat (1 tracker plus session recording and keystroke capture — yikes), LiveJasmin (1 tracker, canvas fingerprinting). CherryTV matched Chaturbate's result and beat everyone else. On a live cam platform running real-time video streams, payment processing, chat systems, tip animations, two-way cam feeds — zero tracking scripts loaded. That's not the default. That's a deliberate infrastructure decision and it's the right one.

VirusTotal: 0/94. Obviously.

The design looks like someone in 2024 sat down and said "what if a cam site didn't look terrible?" The interface is clean. Big thumbnails. Smooth streams. Chat works without lag. Mobile is properly responsive, not desktop-shrunk-to-fit like SakuraLive. There's a gamification thing happening — levels, achievements, virtual gifts — which is a little much for me personally but I get the appeal. The point is this doesn't look like a site that was built in 2011 and never touched. It looks new because it is new and that's actually an advantage here.

Payment options caught me off guard. Credit card, crypto, PayPal. PayPal on a cam site is rare because PayPal actively drops adult platforms. Most cam sites learned this years ago and stopped trying. CherryTV either negotiated something or is living in whatever gray zone PayPal currently tolerates. Having three payment methods on a platform this small shows they invested in infrastructure before they had the audience to justify it. Optimistic, maybe. But it means you can pay with crypto for full anonymity, PayPal for convenience, or card if you don't care.

Luxembourg. EU jurisdiction. GDPR applies, which is the strongest consumer privacy framework in the world. The company is privately held and I couldn't find founder names or detailed corporate info. That's not unusual for Luxembourg — it's a major corporate domicile precisely because of its privacy-friendly registration. Not the same kind of "anonymous" as a .su domain in Russia. More like "European corporate privacy norms."

Free public shows work exactly like Chaturbate — you land on the page, click a model, watch. No account. No payment. No login wall. Tips and privates cost tokens which you buy in packs. Standard cam site model, nothing innovative here. The pricing on token packs seemed roughly comparable to what Chaturbate charges, maybe slightly cheaper per token at the bigger pack sizes but I didn't do an exact comparison.

Cam2cam in private shows. Works fine. I tested it.

OK so back to the fifteen models on a Tuesday night. I checked at different times over several days because I wanted to be fair. Friday evening US Eastern (which is a decent European window too) was the best I saw — enough models to actually browse and choose. Weekday mornings were brutal. The roster skewed Eastern European and Latin American, which is where the early adopter cam models tend to come from when a new platform launches. Diversity compared to Chaturbate's global roster wasn't close.

This is the fundamental problem and there's no way around it. Cam sites are network effect businesses. Viewers go where models are. Models go where money is. Money follows viewers. Breaking into a market where Chaturbate has been compounding that flywheel for fourteen years requires either obscene marketing spend or a killer differentiator that convinces models to split their time. CherryTV's pitch seems to be better revenue splits and the gamification stuff, but 200K monthly visits after five years of operation means the flywheel hasn't caught yet.

I'm not going to speculate about whether it will. Five years at this traffic level could mean "slow build toward something" or "this is the ceiling." I don't know and neither does anyone else.

6.2 out of 10. Here's the thing — if you took CherryTV's privacy scan, its design, its payment options, and dropped them onto a platform with Chaturbate's model count, you'd have the best cam site on the internet. That platform doesn't exist. What exists is a well-built cam site with excellent privacy and not enough people using it. If you're privacy-first and willing to browse a smaller selection, CherryTV is worth bookmarking. If you want variety and a packed room on a random Wednesday at 2am, Chaturbate's still where you go.
