🚩 The LiveJasmin Problem
LiveJasmin is the only cam site in our scan that tested positive for both session recording AND keystroke capture. This means:
• Session recording: The platform can replay your entire browsing session — every page you visited, every button you clicked, how long you watched each model
• Keystroke capture: Every character you type is logged — chat messages, search queries, anything you enter in text fields
• Combined: On a platform where users chat in private rooms and enter payment info, this is a significant privacy concern
LiveJasmin's parent company (Technius Ltd) also operates Stripchat. Stripchat's scan was clean — 0 trackers, 0 cookies, no session recording. Same company, different infrastructure decisions.

💳 Billing: What shows on your statement
Each cam site uses a different payment processor. Stripchat and Chaturbate bill through Segpay — your statement shows "Segpay" or "Multi Media LLC", not the site name. LiveJasmin shows "JMSLLC" or similar. Flirt4Free shows "VS Media Inc".
Check the billing descriptor before buying tokens. If the site name appears directly, use a prepaid card. Most cam sites accept prepaid Visa/Mastercard. Some accept crypto (Chaturbate, CamSoda).
👤 Your identity: What models can see
Models see your username and nothing else. They cannot see your real name, email, IP address, location, or payment details. The cam platform itself has your payment info through the processor, but models do not.
Use a pseudonym username. Don't reuse usernames from other platforms. Never share personal info in chat — even in private sessions. Models can screenshot chat logs.
🔒 Use a VPN
A VPN hides your IP address from the cam site. Without a VPN, the site knows your approximate location. With a VPN, they see the VPN server's IP instead.

🧹 Use an adblocker
Even on cam sites with low tracker counts, the ads can redirect to sketchy sites. BongaCams and Jerkmate in particular have aggressive ad overlays. An adblocker removes these.
Install uBlock Origin (free, open source). It blocks known tracking scripts, ad overlays, and popup redirects. It won't break cam site functionality.
🎥 Recording: Can models record you?
In cam2cam (two-way video) sessions, the model can see your camera feed. There is no technical prevention against screen recording — any model could potentially record your video.
If you use cam2cam, accept the risk. Don't show your face and identifying features simultaneously. Some users cover or blur parts of the frame. The safest option: don't use cam2cam if privacy is a priority.
💰 Token scams: What to watch for
Cam sites are not scams themselves, but individual bad actors exist. Common issues: models who take tokens for a "private show" then deliver minimal content, fake "goals" that reset, and aggressive upselling in DMs.
Start with free public shows to gauge a model before spending. Check model ratings and reviews on the platform. Set a budget before your session. Never send tokens off-platform — if a model asks you to pay through Venmo or crypto directly, walk away.
