Google "safe porn sites" and you get listicles written by people who've never loaded a scanning tool in their lives. Ten sites with affiliate links, a paragraph each about how the content is "high quality," and exactly zero mention of trackers, cookies, fingerprinting, or what happens to your data after you close the tab. The word "safe" doing all the work and none of the evidence.

We scanned 120 adult sites with Blacklight — The Markup's open-source privacy inspector — and cross-checked every one against VirusTotal's malware database. The results page you're reading now pulls directly from that dataset. When a new review goes up and the data changes, so does this page. No manual updates. No stale numbers.

Before the tables: "safe" is actually three different things, and most people conflate all three because nobody bothers to separate them.

These sites came back with the lowest combined tracking footprint across all metrics. Some of them surprised me. A free tube with 10 million videos running cleaner than a paid subscription studio?
