Slayed

VMG's newest brand applies the network's cinematic standard to all-female content — the most visually polished girl-on-girl production in the industry, launched in 2021 and still building a library that doesn't yet match the depth of its older siblings.

What's good

+ VMG production quality applied to all-female content — nobody else shoots girl-on-girl at this visual level

+ Blacklight scan: 1 tracker, 0 cookies, no fingerprinting, session recording, or keystroke capture — consistent VMG clean profile

+ Included in the full nine-brand VMG network subscription at $29.99/month

+ Cast pulls from VMG's top-tier talent pool — performers who appear across Vixen and Deeper show up here in different pairings

What's bad

Youngest VMG brand means the smallest library by a significant margin — launched 2021, still catching up on volume

All-female content is heavily represented on free tubes and competing studios — the VMG production premium is the only differentiator

No thematic hook beyond "beautiful women together" — Deeper has psychology, Tushy has a category focus, Slayed has aesthetics and not much else

Scenes can lean toward a male-gaze framing that doesn't always feel authentic to the performers' chemistry

Full Review

Slayed is the VMG brand with the least to say about itself, and I mean that as both a criticism and an observation about where it sits in the network. Vixen has the origin story. Blacked elevated a category. Tushy reframed another. Deeper has Kayden Kross's directorial vision. Slayed launched in 2021 as the all-female entry and its pitch is essentially "VMG production quality, but lesbian content." That's it. No narrative ambition, no category recontextualization. Just very pretty women filmed very prettily together.

The production is exactly what you'd expect from the network at this point. Same locations, same lighting philosophy, same color grading. Scenes open with establishing shots of wherever the performers happen to be — a modern apartment, a resort pool, a villa terrace. Wardrobe is minimal but selected. The visual standard carries over completely. If you put a Slayed scene and a Vixen scene side by side with the sound off, the production quality is indistinguishable.

I watched about eight scenes and the thing that kept nagging me was a question of perspective. All-female content exists along a spectrum from "filmed for the female gaze" to "filmed for male viewers watching women together." Slayed sits closer to the second end of that spectrum. The camera lingers the way VMG cameras always linger — on bodies, on positioning, on the visual arrangement of the scene. It's gorgeous to look at. But it doesn't feel like it was made by or for the women on screen. That's not unique to Slayed — most studio-produced girl-on-girl content has this quality — but the VMG production polish makes the framing more obvious, not less. When everything looks this intentional, the perspective behind the lens becomes harder to ignore.

The library is thin. Slayed launched four years ago and releases at the same measured pace as the rest of VMG. That means fewer total scenes than any other major brand in the network. Vixen and Blacked have years of head start. Tushy and Deeper had more time to build. Slayed's catalog is still growing and a dedicated viewer will run through what's available faster than on any sibling brand. The network subscription absorbs this — once you've seen what Slayed has, Deeper and Vixen are right there — but evaluated on its own, the depth isn't there yet.

The competitive landscape for all-female content is crowded in a way that other VMG categories aren't. Girlsway under Gamma Films is the dedicated lesbian studio with a deeper catalog and more frequent releases. Sweetheart Video does romantic lesbian content with actual narrative depth. Free tube sites overflow with the category. Slayed's advantage is purely visual — nobody shoots girl-on-girl at this production level. Whether that visual premium justifies choosing Slayed over more established options depends on how much the cinematography wrapper matters to you. For me it matters. But I recognize the content underneath the wrapper is doing less interesting things than what Deeper or even Tushy attempt within their categories.

Blacklight: 1 tracker, 0 cookies. VirusTotal 0/94. Same as every VMG brand. At this point I'd be surprised if any property on the network deviated.

The all-female focus means Slayed serves one audience. Within the network subscription that's fine — it's a bonus brand alongside eight others. As a reason to subscribe on its own, the thin library and the competition from studios with more content and more creative range make it a tough sell. Slayed is the brand you discover after subscribing for Vixen or Deeper, not the one that pulls you into the network.

7.5/10. VMG's visual standard applied to all-female content looks as good as you'd imagine, and the privacy profile is consistently clean. But Slayed hasn't developed its own creative identity the way Deeper and Tushy have, the library is the shallowest in the network, and the category faces more free and paid competition than any other VMG niche. A solid addition to the network bundle. Not a reason to buy it.
